What you are booking
Any professional will arrive with good speakers and good lighting. That part is simply expected, and it is not what decides how your evening goes. What you are paying for is the judgement that knows how to use them in your room, on your night, for your guests — and the months of quiet preparation that happen long before anything is plugged in at all.
A wedding evening is not a technical problem. It is a room full of people who know each other in complicated ways, a handful of moments that cannot be done twice, and a couple who should be enjoying it rather than managing it.
Music
A wedding is four generations in one room, and they do not all want the same thing at the same time. The craft is noticing the moment the room changes and moving with it — built around the songs that matter to you, and never the ones that don't.
Sound
Speeches audible at the back without anyone straining. A first dance that fills the room instead of flattening it. Full, clear sound where people are dancing, while conversation stays comfortable elsewhere in the room.
Lighting
The space your guests had dinner in should not look the same at ten o'clock. Warm light where the walls were bare, colour chosen to sit with your flowers, and a dancefloor that looks like somewhere you would want to stand.

Who you are booking
Daniel has spent three decades behind the decks — clubs, festivals, seasons abroad, and a great many weddings. That history is not the proposition; it is the reason the difficult parts of an evening look easy.
You will speak to him when you enquire, plan with him before the day, and see him behind the booth on the night. No account manager, no roster, nobody sent in his place.
Before the day
A conversation, your music, your venue, and a final meeting where every moment is agreed. Not a form to fill in — a person taking responsibility, so that by the time your guests arrive there is nothing left for you to think about.
Is your date still free?
Tell Daniel when and where you are getting married. He will reply himself, and if the date is open the next step is a conversation rather than a contract.
